Prohibited Employer ActivityCan not discharge, threaten, or otherwise discriminate if employee reports a violation of a law or rule of the state, political subdivision or US, a condition or practice that would put at risk the health or safety of that employee or is requested to participate in an investigation, hearing, or inquiry or refuses to carry out a directive that violates the act

RemediesEmployee must first report violation to a supervisor and give the employer a reasonable opportunity to correct unless employee has specific reason to believe that reports to employer won't result in correction
