| Residency Requirements | Plaintiff must be resident for 6 full weeks before commencing action. |
| Waiting Period | Decree entered immediately on determination of issues (for adultery, within 2 yrs., for felony conviction, before the end of sentence or 1 yr. after pardon). |
| 'No Fault' Grounds for Divorce | Separation (5 yrs.); irreconcilable differences. |
| Defenses to a Divorce Filing | Collusion; condonation; recrimination or limitation and lapse of time. |
| Other Grounds for Divorce | Adultery; extreme cruelty or violence; willful neglect or desertion; habitual intemperance; insanity; conviction of felony; irreconcilable differences. |
